Where Do I Come From?

I come from the San Fernando Valley, a part of the LA county that is NorthWest of downtown Los Angeles. Specifically, I grew up in the Chatsworth/Porter Ranch area of the valley. 

Where Am I Going?

A place where I am content, but motivated in life. I'm not exactly sure what path to take to reach this goal, but I will continue to set goals for myself. 

How Do I Plan to Get There?

With determination, passion, and humility. 

How Am I Like My Parents?

I am hardheaded with determination just like my mother. Unfortunately like her, I am often times blinded by my own ego/pride, which can result in tunnel vision. 

Like my father, I am caring and nurturing. He is more affectionate and caring than the stereotypical Korean-American, which has rubbed off on me during my development as a man. 

How Am I Unlike My Parents?

Not many ways that I can think of, or observe myself. 

Have You Developed Your Own Expectations for Yourself?

Yes, but it took some deep introspection and reflection of my own values and motivations in life. After recovering from depression, I have developed a vision for myself that I am committed to fulfill. 

There are elements of my own expectation that are in line with the exceptions that my parents have set for myself, however my method for achieving those expectations are not exactly the same as their's. 

My Role Model

LeBron James is a role model of mine who attacks his goals in life, despite the massive pressure behind him to succeed starting as a young high school boy. Under the limelight of billions, LeBron has continued to take the high road, acting as a role model for many. In addition; James has avoided any significant allegation, has been a great father to his three children, and has given back immensely to the Akron and Ohio community. His consistent determination for greatness is another attribute that I admire.  

My Animal

The animal I share a deep connection with is the Tiger. I enjoy their power and strength along with their mysterious energy. As a cat owner, I have also developed a special affinity for feline animals. 

My Plant

I feel a special connection to Bonsai Trees. After visiting the Bonsai Tree display at the Descanso Gardens as a young boy, They seem to release a special aura that is indescribable.
